We all have heard of the phrase you can’t have your cake and eat it too. We know the meaning and it’s truth. Well it’s partial truth… lets talk about living a well balanced life. A life where you can can have two good things at the same time. A life where you can have the best of both worlds. It seems impossible but with hard work you can get there! You just have to put your mind to it & put your life in perspective! If you want to be successful and be internally happy, it can happen at the same time. But your life has to be well balanced.

Lets say you get the job or position you have always wanted, making decent money or more money , but you have not been truly happy. Maybe the job may cause you to not enjoy life because It requires a lot of time and work. A simple solution, balance your life. The days that you must work, continue to work hard for what God has blessed you with. But on your off days, learn to mediate and enjoy the blessings that you reap from having that job. What’s a job without reaping the benefits of the money you make from working hard?

It is said that one should not have more than what is reasonable. But that is what we have trained our minds to think because of the generation curses that continues to live through our lives. We have trained ourselves to be satisfied with the minimum even when God blesses us with more. If God stated that he will bless us so much that our cup overflows, then this means we can enjoy so many blessings at one time. So much until its an overabundance of blessings! We have to start balancing our lives now so we can enjoy the benefits of favor and success!
